To round out our Holiday 2009 10 Deep shipment, we just received in one more hat from them. I made a separate post about this because I really like this hat haha. It is their classic X Deep New Era fitted hat done in their custom Oak Bluff plaid pattern! It features the normal 10.Deep embroidered logo hits on the back and underbrim of the hat. Mike Posner: One Foot Out The Door Episode 5 (University of Michigan)

Mike Posner just released Episode 5 of his web series One Foot Out The Door, and it features....us here at Motivation! This is the University of Michigan edition and it features footage from his in-store with Big Sean here at Motivation as well as footage from the concert afterwards. You might see yourself because I see a lot of familiar faces on the video! Check out me & Indra's cameo after the concert footage. There's also footage of a photoshoot with Dante Marshall aftwerwards and I noticed Mike was wearing our Dope Couture collaboration t-shirt in one of the shots....what do I gotta do to get that picture Dante?!? New York Yankees 27 World Champions Hats Now In Stock!

We are always looking to provide you with unique hats that you cannot find elsewhere in Michigan, and a week ago we just got in stock the Yankees World Series Champions New Era Fitted Hat! It is a special edition hat that features the Yankees iconic logo outlined in metallic gold, as well as the 27 World Championships patch on the right side of the hat, and the Inaugural Season patch on the back of the hat. New Era - New York Yankees World Series Champions Inaugural Fitted Hat

Dante Marshall $10 Photoshoot This Sunday 12/27!

If you are out here in Michigan or have followed our blog for any amount of time, you've probably heard of photographer Dante Marshall. He is one of the best all around photographers in the Midwest, and Im not just saying that because he did our store photography! He's worked with a ton of big names and shoots it all from high fashion to recording artists...and now he can photograph you!

This Sunday December 27th, he will be having his second annual $10 photoshoot at his loft which is located at 229 Gratiot Ave. (On the corner of Gratiot and Broadway). It goes from 4PM to 8:30PM and music will be provided by Dj Mo Beatz. He will shoot you in one outfit for $10, and you have the option of taking a group photo or an additional outfit for another $10. Usually a photoshoot for a few outfits with someone like Dante costs in the mid-hundreds of dollars, so this is definitely a great deal! Even if you are not taking photos, it is a great networking event to go out to as pretty much everyone from recording artists to models to business owners from Michigan will be out there. Some of us from Motivation will be there, including me as long as I dont go out of town this weekend!

Motivation Holiday Hours

Here are the holiday hours for our retail location; please note we will be open extended hours on Wednesday the 23rd (until 9PM) and then we will be closed for four days straight from Thursday the 24th through Sunday the 27th. New Motivation Double Logo T-Shirts Releasing Today!

We will be releasing 4 new colorways of our Motivation Double Logo t-shirts today on Monday 12/21! If you missed out on the last run, don't sleep because this is the last time we will be producing the 'Double Logo' design for a minute. The colorways on this run include a Reverse Store colorway (Red/Black/White), Space Jam colorway (Black/White/Blue), Gucci colorway (Black/Green/Red), and Griffey colorway (Blue/White/Neon Green). Only 25 of each colorway were produced, so act quickly if you want to get your hands on one!
