HUF Summer 09 Now In Stock!
We are proud to announce that we are now an official stockist of San Fransisco-based skate brand HUF! We are actually the only HUF account in Michigan and the surrounding states, and their Summer '09 collection just recently hit our store shelves. It is a smaller shipment to introduce the brand to you, our customers --- and to hold you over until their full collection hits in the Fall! It features a lot of clean designs that you can wear pretty much wherever. For those of you that don't know, HUF was started by pro skater Keith Hufnagel and the skate influence is definitely apparent in these designs. Check them out below and please note they are selling quite fast!

Jordan 6 Black/Red Retro
Earlier we showed you the True Blue 3s that are set to come out in the near future, now we're showing you the Black/Red 6s set to come out January 2010 (please note they are NOT Infrared, but just regular Red). These don't really need much of a description though as the Infrareds are pretty much one of the top 5 most popular Jordan shoes to date...so keep watch around January!

More Crooks & Castles Summer 2009 Delivery Now In Stock!
Another Summer Crooks & Castles shipment just came in stock last week with a lot of new t-shirt designs in some great bright colors for the summer. Perhaps Crooks most famous design, the Bandito, appears on a couple tees in this shipment, and they have already been moving well. The C-Snake is also back on two colors of V-Neck t-shirts. If you prefer something a little less flashy, the Gradient Core logo tee is plain but will still have you standing out out of the crowd. As usual with Crooks & Castles, these are moving quickly and many sizes are already out of stock...so don't sleep!

Supra Black Tape Collection
I've seen this collection all over the internet recently, and even though it's an all-black collection, Supra managed to add the small details that set these apart from other all-black shoes. As the name of the collection implies, these shoes are detailed to look as if they're wrapped in electrical tape. The red accents are subtle but just enough to put these over the top. Since these are in the TUF collection, they'll hold up a lot better than regular models. These are already available online and at Supra retailers.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High "Ostrich"
We've seen the Jordan I being re-released in quite a handful of new colorways over the past year or so, with the Do the Right Thing Is being the most recent I can remember. Jordan Brand is now supposedly releasing an all black/ostrich leather version of the original Jordan. I don't know if I'm really feeling these all that much, but I do know that the ballistic nylon sections of the shoe definitely were placed well. The toebox will pretty much never crease up, so as long as you keep these clean, they'll look as fresh as the day you bought them...that's always a plus!

Air Maxim 1 - Nike Sportswear Fall 2009
Nike Sportswear just did a little work and updated the Air Max 1 to meet today's performance requirements. The weight was reduced to 10.1 ounces, roughly 1/3 of the original weight. This was done using "Acespan mesh," seen under the swoosh, which allows the shoe to better conform to the foot and also provides more strength than the usual materials. In addition, the midsole was injected in 3 parts, further increasing the cushioning and support.
I had the chance to get my hands on these at a Niketown and just wasn't feeling the mesh on the upper. It gave the shoe an almost plastic appearance. However, the more I look at the pics, the more I'm willing to give these a second chance.

Jay-Z - Death Of Autotune Video
Jay-Z has recently released the video for "Death of Autotune" off the highly anticipated Blueprint 3 and for my not being a huge Jay-Z fan, this track has definitely won my interest. I guess I'm a bit late to hearing this, so you probably already know that this track strays away from "the usual," incorporating heavy use of instruments, which I'm definitely all for. The video itself is pretty epic...I think I'll have this track stuck in my head the next few days.

Onitsuka Tiger X-Caliber
When released in 1982, the Onitsuka Tiger X-Caliber had innovative technology and designs for that time. The first shoes had a lot of bright eighties colorways released. The original colors are being reissued in true retro style: Red Clay/White and Blue/Silver. They will be launched at selected retailers across Europe on 1st of July.
The toe on these reminded me a lot of New Balances, and since I need more shoes that aren't Nike, I might have to check these out if/when they hit the States. I'm definitely feeling the blue colorway, but both are really strong.

Steelers 2008 Super Bowl Rings...

Anyways, check out the Steelers Super Bowl 38 rings, they are pretty crazy -- they each are 3.61 carats and contain 63 diamonds. The blinged out Steelers logo takes the cake. Someday Lions....someday you might get one of these!

Play Cloths PC Jet Set Luggage Collection Now In Stock!
We released the Play Cloths PC Jet Set Luggage Collection here at Motivation last Friday and it has been a big success thus far! We received in between 3 and 6 of each item only and we have already sold out of much of it. The Ostrich Duffle Bags and Ostrich Business Card holders are unfortunately already completely sold out, and we have very limited numbers left of the rest of the collection. Each piece is made out of luxurious Ostrich Leather and is of the up most quality with a lot of little detailing. Check out pictures of what we still have in stock below!

10.Deep Summer Now In Stock!
We got in our Summer 2009 10.Deep shipment about 2 weeks ago now, and it has been selling real well in the store thus far -- a lot of sizes are already sold out! The t-shirts this season have that classic 10.Deep styling and are done in some nice, brighter colors for the summer. The short sleeve button-ups are nice as well and can go with a lot of outfits, dress up or dress down. The Willy Loman one has been flying off the shelves for us. Finally, the X Deep Striped New Eras are definitely a nice summer hat, they are made of a lighter oxford material and feature their well-known X Deep logo. Check them all out below and in-store!

Nas + Damian Marley = Distant Relatives (New Album)
I just found out via Hypebeast that Nas and Damian Marley are going to be doing a new album together called Distant Relatives! Nas is my favorite hip-hip artist and Im actually pretty into Reggae (thanks to Indra!) so Im really looking forward to it. I gotta be honest, hopefully its not too much "Change The World" stuff though (watch the video and you will know what Im talking about) -- Im sure there will be some tracks I can ride to on it.
