Air Max 90 "Infrared" Retro
It seems like Nike (and Jordan Brand) are both bringing back a lot of tried and true colorways as of late, and the Air Max 90 is getting the retro treatment as well. Quite possibly the most popular colorway, the "Infrared" is being brought back next month, and the materials and colors are supposed to be exactly as they were on the OG shoe. Definitely a great move on Nike's part, and for those of us who aren't willing to drop a few hundred on the OG shoe, I suggest keeping an eye out for the exact release date, because it's a guaranteed thing that these will be off the shelves as quickly as they hit them.

The Hundreds Summer 2010 Accessories Now In Stock
A new drop from The Hundreds just came in stock here at Motivation, right in time to accessorize for the Summer! We start off with the classic Adam Bomb New Era in Black, which The Hundreds actually did a limited re-release of due to demand -- it was last released almost 3 years ago! If you want classic The Hundreds, this hat is it. We've also got the Adam keychain, which will definitely set your keys apart from everyone else's, so they'll never get lost. In case you were looking for some Hundreds gear for around the house, we've got you covered there as well! There's the Adam Mouse Pad and Box Adam pillow in this drop, perfect for the desk or couch. Finishing up this update, we've got a couple pair of the Phoenix sunglasses, one in Black/Silver, the other in Purple/Gold. The lenses are actually mirrored so people can't see your eyes well. These sunglasses are definitely the best accessory for the Summer!

DTA Summer 2010 Drop 2 Now in Stock!
DTA's second drop of the 2010 Summer season is now in stock here at Motivation! This drop features one style of tee in three colorways, and one tank top with some art that you're probably already familiar with. The t-shirt features an allover design, the Slapsy Allover print, which, as the name suggests, appears to depict a DTA sticker attack. This tee comes in White/Grey, White/Red, and Grey/Black. Sorta like we did with The Hundreds Baller Basketball Jersey, we've brought in the DTA Posse tank in Heather/Black, and its almost sold out already, haha. A good look for the summer if you ask me!

Another July Nike SB Dunk
Here's one more "Chrome Ball Incident" dunk that's scheduled to drop next month. This one features the colors of Neil Blender's Chrome Ball Incident blog, but if you ask me, the colorway is extremely reminiscent of an older SB dunk low that was designed by Futura. If you couldn't get your hands on that one, here's your chance to get a Dunk that looks almost exactly the same. This colorway also matches up perfectly with our Motivation Addicted t-shirt in Black/Blue, so if you don't have any sneakers to rock with that, here you go!

Nike SB July Drops
Here's a couple of pics of Nike SB releases dropping next month...or right now if you're overseas. First up is my favorite, the Janoski, in an all green colorway that looks to be done up in suede, which is probably the best material you could put on this shoe. Then there's the Chrome Ball Incident Dunk Hi, which has a bit of history behind the colorway and is the Quickstrike for the month. This shoe takes its colorway from the Airwalk Enigma, and features embroidered scissors on the strap, which refers to the common practice of skaters back in the 80s cutting down high tops to be more skate friendly. Look for them in the coming weeks across the street from us at Launch, as well as your local Nike SB dealers!

Mishka Summer 2010 Now in Stock!
Another drop, another Motivation first! We just received in our shipment from Mishka's Summer 2010 collection and it is the first time we've brought in Mishka's Denim. Well, we actually had one style of it in 2007 when we opened but many of you probably don't remember that haha! Staying on topic, this drop features two styles of denim in three colors. First off, the Alexei Selvage denim in Grey, which is a very high quality selvage denim with a vintage straight leg shrink-to-fit cut. Next up is the Sergei in Chambray Grey and Raw Indigo, which have a low rise straight leg cut. Come in to the shop and check these out in person - the Chambray fabric is ill on the Grey pair, and the embroidery on the back pockets of both really set the jeans off! As far as tees go, we've got the Reflector Mop in Black and White, which features 3M reflective print on the front, in case the name didn't give it away for you haha. Then there's the Penalty Shot tee in black, another strong and uniquely Mishka design. There's one New Era fitted hat in this drop, the Keep Watch in Cyan, and a handful of snapbacks, including two New Era snapbacks and a (now sold out) Start Script Snapback. Check them all out below before these ones sell out!

White/Black/Red Motivation 'Ornate M' New Era Hat Releasing FRIDAY!
We will be releasing a new colorway of our Motivation 'Ornate M' New Era fitted hats this FRIDAY June 26, 2010! This time around the hat is White, Black, and Motivation Red. The red is actually the same exact shade of red that we use on all of our logos, promo material, and clothing...hence "Motivation Red"! Its also the first time we have used it on a New Era. The base of the hat is a crispy white which is perfect for the hot Summers, and the brim is all black so that you dont get the hat dirty when taking it on and off. Of course this hat is a perfect match for the recently released White/Varsity Red Jordan VIs Retros (as well as the Infrared VIs -- since the infrared on them is closer to red then infrared!), the White/Varsity Red Jordan IIs Retros, and pretty much any white/black/red Jordan sneaker! These hat will release Friday at Noon at our retail location as well as our Online Store, and are limited to only 30 pieces produced.

Vintage Deadstock Snapbacks Now in Stock!
This Summer we have brought some vintage snapbacks to the Motivation shelves! Unlike some place online that charge an arm and a leg for vintage snapbacks, these are all priced at $35. We brought in a mix of college, MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL teams, so there's definitely something for everyone here. We actually sold out of alot of the ones we got in stock already but here is a look at what is left! We've got a few different University of Michigan styles, as well as one style each of UNLV and Colorado. Representing the NBA are the Boston Celtics, the hometown Pistons, and San Antonio Spurs (in my opinion, one of the best styles here). Then there's the NFL teams - Detroit Lions, NY Giants, Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills, and the Philadelphia Eagles. We've only got one NHL team left, the San Jose Sharks, and two MLB teams - the Oakland A's and Milwaukee Brewers. If that was too much to take in then check out the pics below!

Big Sean - What You Doin? (Bullshitting) Video Commercial
In case you've been living under a rock and didnt know, Big Sean's latest single is called What You Doing (Bullshittin') and the music video for it is about to drop very soon! He just released this commercial/preview for the video which you can check out below. The track is produced by our fam The Olympicks and you can see BP repping our Motivation New Era at the very end...good looks!
Motivation Custom U of M New Era Hats Now in Stock!
Just in time for the Summer, we designed a few more University of Michigan New Era hats that are exclusive to Motivation! You know we always rep our city so we had to keep the hometown customs coming. The first style is the classic Schembechler M in done in Metallic Gold instead of the normal Maize, and it is on on an all navy hat with our gray underbrim. The next two styles feature the outlined Block M. The first colorway is a Stone (very light grey) base with Navy brim, and the second colorway features a Charcoal base with Navy brim. Each features a different colored underbrim (Maize and Gray) and various other unique accents to make the hat custom. If you're a U of M fan and want something not everyone else is wearing, make sure you pick some of these up!

Huf Footwear - Hupper Numero Uno
Huf will be releasing its first official shoe from its own in-house sneaker line next Saturday June 26th, and its called the Hupper Numero Uno. They will be available at the Huf flagship stores in Los Angeles and San Francisco ONLY and they are limited to only 111 pairs produced. They feature a 'Numero Uno' embroidery on the heel of the shoes and are in my opinion a great looking piece of footwear. This should also mean that the main release of the Huf footwear line will be coming soon, so look for that to hit stores like us at Motivation in the near future!

Complex.com: Top 50 Hip Hop FAILS Of All Time
Complex just released their list of Top 50 Hip Hop FAILS of All Time, and I gotta say its pretty hilarious. They rank the biggest failures and stupid incidents in Hip Hop from #5o to #1, and its a great read on a lazy Sunday afternoon like today. It kind of makes you realize how stupid some of this hip-hop stuff really is though haha....anyways check out the entire list HERE.
