Heineken x G.O.O.D. Music Detroit Red Star Access Recap

Last night I had the privilege of attending the Heineken x G.O.O.D. Music Red Star Access event, featuring sets by CyHi da Prynce and Pusha T, both of Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label. Heineken held the event at Detroit's Majestic Theatre, pic below, and they did an extremely good job of giving the event an intimate feel to it. I definitely felt like a VIP - a big thank you to Cliff Skighwalker for the invite!


First to take the stage was CyHi da Prynce. I've gotta be honest, I hadn't checked him out before this event (that I knew of), and I haven't heard many people around here dropping his name. However, I'm pretty sure everyone's heard his verse on Kanye's "So Appalled," which he performed last night. After seeing him perform last night, I'm definitely going to recommend everyone check him out - Kanye definitely has the ear for talent. In addition, he was rocking the Dope Logo tank top by our friends over at Dope Couture.


After the DJ set/intermission, Pusha T took command of the stage. He definitely knows how to put on a great live set. Most of the tracks he performed were off the Fear of God mixtape, but he also threw his verse from "So Appalled" into the mix. I really don't know what else to say here other than to go see him live if you get the chance!


I wasn't able to get any other real clear/in focus pictures of his set (besides the one above), but check back with us in a couple days for a few videos that Im going to upload from his set! Thanks again to Heineken and Cliff for a great event!
